Alaves vs Barcelona Team News
Barca are set to be without injured French trio Antoine Griezmann, Ousmane Dembele and Samuel Umtiti, while Gerard Pique, Junior Firpo and Ivan Rakitic are all suspended which could all lead to youth players seeing some minutes.
The hosts will be missing centre-back Rodrigo Ely following his red card in Thursday night's win at Real Betis, while goalkeeper Fernando Pacheco remains side-lined through injury.
Alaves v Barcelona Preview
With nothing riding on the game for either side it is likely to be a strange affair and Alaves are a side that have caused the Catalans problems in the past.
It will take a huge effort from Barca to rouse themselves following the disappointment of surrendering their title and we are unlikely to see much intensity in their display.
Three of the last five meetings between these teams have been goalless at the break, while Barca have failed to score in the first halves of two of their last three matches and another low-key opening 45 minutes looks likely.
Alaves have struggled badly for goals themselves and with nothing to play for, they are not likely to contribute to a high-scoring opening.
